It's so good, it's great. Now for wackdoodle's unbelievable, unguaranteeable promises if you buy and listen to this new Duran Duran CD ( YOU MUST BUY THE CD not the iTunes download buy the physical CD, you cannot hold a download to your chest and tell it you love it!):

Wackdoodle promises Duran Duran's Red Carpet Massacre CD will:
1) make you dance and sing and shake your thang even if you didn't know you had a thang to shake.
2) make you lose those last few stubborn pounds!
3) get you the man or woman or pet of your dreams tax-free!
4) help you find hidden money in your pants pockets, jacket pockets and sofa cushions!
5) make strangers on the bus wonder why your head is bobbing, your smiling and having such a good time on the crowded bus.
5) will help you solve global warming AND global dimming!
7) will give Lassie a rest and make little Timmy smart enough to know not to play in danger zones so that Lassie won't have to bark out elaborate codes to Timmy's mom to say "Hey lady your stupid kid fell down the same well again!"
#8 will stop commercials from interupting your favorite tv programs.
9) will stop advertisements at the movies!
10) will bring you listening enjoyment.

For you fashionistas - John Taylor is married to Gela Nash co-owner/creator of Juicy Couture. And all of DD are still dress very posh dressers.

Nick Rhodes still wears enough make-up to cover every model at both NY fashion week at Milan fashion week.

Simon Le Bon's vocals sound great on every song.

Roger Taylor is back yet again drumming for DD and all is right with the Universe.

Justin Timberlake and Timbaland both worked on this CD so there are some very dance-worthy tracks. To me they are very Duran Duran not Timberlake and Timbaland. Yes, you get their favor but DD's favor is strongest and it's a good mix - like the best Cosmopolitan you've had.

I've been a Duranie since 1981 when I was 10, that's a long time. I briefly stopped buying their new CDs when John Taylor left the band because to me it was no longer DD (no Taylors in the band at all) but I keep my Duranie gear and CDs, books, calendars, and other stuff. Anyway, I somehow have mystically passed on my Duranism to a group of 18 years old (including my own nephew) in my hometown. They raided my sister's garage where my DD stuff was stored and begged to "borrow" pieces of my collection and burn copies of my CDs. I also got the "tell me a story" business about the 80's and how great Duran Duran was and why Spandeau Ballet failed to knock them off their throne.

Anyway, lost my train of thought. Hard to type and dance to Red Carpet Massacre and tell you all to go get a copy and crank it up!
Currently my favorite song is Tempted

I heard them perform acoustically on the radio this morning and it was fabulous!
